NTA Issues Exam City Intimation Slip for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 March 20, 2025 The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 2. The candidates can now download and view their slips from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by submitting their application number and date of birth.
Exam Schedule: Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): Scheduled for April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8, 2025. Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning): Set for April 9, 2025. The exam city announcement slip gives candidates details of the city where the examination center falls, allowing them to make important travel arrangements. Note that the slip is not the admit card and should not be used to gain entry to the examination hall. The official admit cards shall be released by the NTA around three days prior to respective exam dates. Admit Card Details: The admit card will bear vital details, such as the candidate's name, roll number, date of the exam, shift timing, and the precise address of the exam center. The candidates have to download and take a printout of their admit cards as soon as they become available and produce them at the exam center on the exam date. Recent Updates: The JEE Main 2025 Session 2 registration process ended on February 25, 2025. A correction window was opened from February 27 to 28, during which candidates could make the required changes in their application forms. The results of JEE Main 2025 Session 1 were declared on February 11, 2025. The scorecards will be available for the candidates using their login credentials on the official website. Interestingly, 14 students obtained a perfect 100 percentile score in this session. Important Changes for JEE Main 2025: Exam Pattern: NTA has updated the exam pattern for JEE Main 2025. The optional questions are eliminated, and all the questions are compulsory. Negative marking for the numerical-based questions is also implemented. Reduction of Syllabus: Some topics, especially in Physics, have been eliminated from the syllabus for the purpose of simplifying the examination material. Tie-Breaking Policy: The age factor has been removed from the tie-breaking policy. The new policy gives weightage to higher NTA scores in Mathematics, then Physics and Chemistry, and also takes into account the positive to negative response ratio. The candidates are informed to visit the official NTA website regularly for the latest information and be thoroughly prepared for the forthcoming examinations.
